Much as I enjoyed the POTC movies, I got really frustrated when they added characters from the films into the ride--they seemed so out of place, and it removed the wonderful mysterious element of the experience, turning what was a rich world full of unknown characters and unlimited imagination into Another Wacky Jack Sparrow Adventure.
