On the Monkey Island Adventures page on Facebook, 4 new character renders from Tales of Monkey Island have been posted. There’s Elaine, Guybrush, LeChuck, and the Voodoo Lady, oh my! Have a look then!

    Is it just me or does lechuck look like a slightly aged version of guybrush with a slightly diff pair of pants?

    I love Elaine* but her bangs are ridiculous. I don’t remember having bangs like that before. While I think it’s cool they went back to Guybrush’s MI2 look I think he looks almost too badass for a comedy driven adventure (though it might just be the lighting there), Dom’s voice is almost completely contradicting his appearance (still I look forward to his performance). LeChuck looks like he was redesigned by an Asian gaming company, not bad though.

    The Voodoo Lady’s looking good. I’m not a fan of the face-paint but as long as that’s still Leilani Jones Wilmore doing her voice I wont mind.

      In motion Guybrush does look a lot dorkier (i.e. better), judging from the trailer. And the Voodoo Lady’s dress is a bit risqué. :P

        Yeah you’re right. And yes, wearing a tube-top-dress combination like that is rather “ris-kee”. Very prone to wardrobe malfuctions. :) It’s good that the Voodoo Lady never does anything strenuous, like standing up :P
