Hello loyal readers. The staff behind this blog (Haggis, SilverWolfPet, and myself) have decided to take a break and put the blog on hiatus. There isn’t much Monkey Island news these days and while we tried to keep the blog alive with different reviews and articles reaching beyond Monkey Island we found out that that is not where our passion lies. We might resurrect this blog if a sequel to ‘Tales of Monkey Island‘ is announced or Ron Gilbert gets the opportunity to make his version of Monkey Island 3. Until then, we hope you enjoyed the blog and take care

This is probably for the best, I’d say. The blog’s still fun, but there’s only so much you can do when the franchise it’s dedicated to has reached a standstill. A fond farewell for now

Thanks for your dedication guys, the blog was lots of fun. We will be back when there are new Monkey Island news to talk about…the secret still hasn’t been discovered.
We were here when World of MI closed the doors, and we are here now.

If any of us has something interesting in his mind and writes about it in the forum, will it be posted here? And will Something of the Thread still continue?
Something of the Thread won’t continue either, I’m afraid. That said, if someone has an earth-shattering announcement to make on the forums, we’ll consider posting about it here.
Other than that, you can of course still use the forums to communicate with your fellow Monkey Island fans!
Checked this place at least once a week. Will miss it guys.
