Igor Hardy, of A Hardy Developer’s Journal, has had the opportunity to interview Mark Darin, one of the creative forces behind Tales of Monkey Island. The resulting interview makes for a very good read, digging into the design process for Tales of Monkey Island; Darin’s excellent Nick Bounty games and his consequent rise to fame are also discussed. You should just go read it.

I think might go check out Pinhead’s games!

I did, they’re quite allright but no masterpieces.
This detective guy tries to much to be/joke like Guybrush, that was my impression..

      • Igor Hardy says:

But Guybrush doesn’t do PI like narrations, nor try to solve murder cases.

I do agree that the voice of the actor doing Nick Bounty is a bit similar to Dominic Armato though.

I don’t like the focus on evil but i like the probelem solving aspect of the game the “Tales” was not as good as the original 4 games in my opinion the first 4 games were one of the best games i ever played. I grew up a monkey island fan
