Here’s an interesting game that you may not have tried out yet: The Wager. It’s a free (!) indie game that has you sailing the seas to discover and explore islands in return for coin. On your journey you meet with lots of unexpected occurrences, such as a ship full of ghost pirates. It’s not a long game, but it will keep you entertained for a bit, so it’s ideal lunch/coffee/whatever break material. Interesting tidbit: the game is made by the duo Surprised Man, one half of which is Peter “SurplusGamer” Silk, who you may have seen around the Mojo part of town.

If you play Minecraft, be sure to visit this thread made by Brush guy – perhaps this is the start of a lively Monkey Island Minecraft community. I personally don’t play it, but if you do, you can perhaps convince people like me by writing about your fabulous experiences in the game! Also, HaydenWCE has another interesting question to ponder, in case you’re also wondering about what lurks in the shadows of the Monkey Island universe. Which inaccessible part in the Monkey Island universe would you want to unlock?

A very funny cartoon has just been put up over at Edd Egg. It’s a sort of interactive cartoony thing aka game, and it’s obviously based on The Secret of Monkey Island, but with a twist. Do give it a spin! (Thanks to gnomeslair for linking to it, otherwise I may never have known of its existence, thereby not being able to share it with you!)
